By public transport

If you visit Hungary and arrive to Liszt Ferenc International Airport, public transport services of BKV offer you a good alternative to reach the city centre.

Budapest Airport is relatively well accessible also by Public Transportation means. Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from (and between) Terminals 1 and 2, called the Bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal.

This service adjusts much better to the passenger traffic at the airport: it is larger so bigger luggages can be transported; it operates more frequently; and it operates for longer hours provideing a link between the city and the airport even after mindnight and at early dawn.

Bus 93 operates from Terminal 1 to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro Station. By the 'blue’ (3) Metro you can reach Deák Ferenc Square in the City in 20 minutes. Public Transportation Means can be used for a fare: the one-way through-ticket costs HUF 300, and from 1 February 2010: HUF 320. (400 HUF when buying on the bus from the driver). For more information about the public transportation of Budapest and the timetable of buses, see the public transportation company offical website.

From 4am to 11pm you can travel by bus 200E. During the late night hours (from 11pm to 4am) you can travel by bus service 900 between Liszt Ferenc International Airport and the bus garage in Dél-Pest. BKV provides connection for the buses 950 and 950A at the bus stop of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út in order to get to the city centre. Passengers travelling to the airport may change from bus 950 or 950A to bus 900 at Honvéd utca (Üllői út).
Schedule of 900

During the late night hours (after the last train of M3 has departed) passengers coming from the airport can change at Kispest, Kossuth tér to night buses 914 and 950, whitch run to the city centre.
